FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is Peri a clinician or therapist?
No. Peri is a perinatal-trained AI companion. It supports — it doesn't diagnose or treat, and it isn't a substitute for professional care.
What happens in a crisis?
Peri detects crisis language server-side and surfaces 988, PSI, and your local crisis line inside the conversation. Always. Never silenced.
Is my conversation private?
Yes. Chats are saved to your account so you can pick up where you left off. You can delete a thread at any time.
What model powers Peri?
Peri runs on a clinically-scaffolded prompt over a frontier LLM. The scaffolding — not the raw model — is the product. Peri pulls data from a secure, safeguarded base and is regularly trained, tested, and updated by founder, Ash Choi, and a team of expert advisors in the field.

Peri is the conductor.  Pulse and Loop-In are the symphony.

Talk it through with Peri. Track how you're doing with Pulse. Activate your support circle with Loop-In. One platform, three tools, all working for you.

Peri is a companion — not a clinician or emergency service.

Tetherwell™ (Peri, Loop-In, and Pulse) is not a replacement for therapy or emergency care. If you're experiencing a mental health crisis, contact 911 or 988. Additional crisis resources are listed below. Peri can help you loop in your closest support people quickly, but a trained crisis responder should always be your first call if you're in danger.
