Tetherwell™ app feature
The people who love you keep saying “let me know if you need anything.” A support circle is how you answer that — before the day you can’t.
1. Add the people you'd want beside you
Open Settings, then Support circle, and add a name, mobile number, and how you know each other. Two or three people is plenty to start — a partner, a sister, a doula, the friend who always answers.
2. They confirm by text
Each person gets one text with a link explaining what they're agreeing to. Nothing else is ever sent until they tap "I agree." If they don't, they simply never hear from us again.
3. One tap reaches them
On a hard day you don't have to find the words. Tap once and everyone who opted in gets a short, clear text telling them to check on you — and how.
4. You stay in control
See who's opted in, who's pending, and whether each text was delivered. Remove anyone, any time. They can reply STOP and they're out immediately.
Two messages, in plain language, from your Tetherwell number.
Tetherwell: Hi Maya, someone added you as an emergency support contact on Tetherwell. If you’re willing to be texted if they’re in crisis, tap: tetherhealth.io/consent/… Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.
URGENT: Jordan used Tetherwell to reach out — they’re going through a hard moment and asked to loop you in. Please call or text them if you can. If they’re in immediate danger, call 911 or 988.
Add two people today. Future you, on a much harder day, will be glad they’re already there.
Tetherwell™ and Peri is not a replacement for therapy or emergency care. If you're experiencing a mental health crisis, contact 911 or 988. Additional crisis resources are listed below. Peri can help you loop in your closest support people quickly, but a trained crisis responder should always be your first call if you're in danger.
